A Song For Buck Mountain

A Song For Buck Mountain

April 10-12

At the dawn of the nineteenth century, things are changing rapidly in coal country. Ex-convict Henry finds himself working at the Buck Mountain mine alongside a motley crew of local miners: a budding violinist and his hard-working brother, a seasoned working woman, the company boss's nephew, and a mysterious old-timer. Life in the mine is simple: you work until nightfall, and you meet your quota. Or starve. Coal is in more demand than ever, and when the company introduces new, high-powered drills, the crew gets a glimpse of hope they haven't seen in years. As they dig further down in a desperate push to break out of the cycle of work, and allow themselves to dream of life outside of coal-dusted tunnels, something awakens deep within the mine...
